Thanksgiving wise words when consulting parents about my problem:
Mom: "You will find a guy that you like just as much as he likes you."
Dad: "Feeling this way will just make it so much better when you find the right person."


This may sound like I am having boy problems (which I am) where I like someone and they don't like me back. However, in my case I am having boy problems, but in a way that there are these boys that like me and I am not really interested and I have to keep hurting their feelings and it makes me feel bad :( :( :( (ps. I never ever ever ever thought I would complain about having to many boys like me!!! haha and I don't mean to sound conceited!)

grr.... I must have picked up some crazy flirting from Holly that I didn't know I had.

Update

I think I will start out this blog post with the most boring thing I can talk about at the momment! Homework! Especially my Anatomy homework! There is so much to do in that class and I feel like I am struggling to get everything done for each class! Also I feel like I don't have enough time in the day to get everything accomplished that I need to. I am actually taking a break from my Anatomy homework so I can talk to you the internet right now.

Do you remember that boy I was talking about who I said was liking me? Well when I told him I didn't want a relationship at the moment he gave up on me and found himself a girlfriend within a few hours. Good thing I didn't get myself caught in that trap! haha

Whitney was so nice to me Saturday morning. She woke up around 8 o'clock before I was awake and hung a big dark blanket over our window and then she went back to bed. Needles to say we slept in until eleven. It was great!

NEXT

This Saturday was my second time performing at halftime! We performed a Jazz routine to She's No Good. If you would like to see a video of it you can find it on Facebook under the videos I am tagged in. It was a lot of fun and we had crazy cool costumes.

The Geeked Out Dance! My roommates and I went to the Geeked Out Dance after the football game. It was so much fun and everyone was dancing like nerds it was a laugh!! I let Aubri borrow some of my clothes because she is to cool to have clothes appropriate to wear to a geek dance haha! Good thing I had that covered!

NEXT

It was just Aubri, Whitney, and myself home this weekend after church we made spaghetti. Whitney provided the noodles, I provided the spaghetti sauce, and Aubri provided the hamburger. It was a pretty good Sunday dinner for us poor college students! I feel like us three are getting a long pretty well. Aubri is introducing us to some of her friends that she already knows. The ones we have hung out with the most are these HUGE HUGE cowboys (really these are some big boys!) and they are so funny!

NEXT

after dinner we went out onto our patio and attempted to kill hornets with hairspray. We were going to use matches and hairspray but we decided that if anyone saw us we would get in trouble so we stuck to just hairspray. We just screamed the whole time pretty much but none of us have any hornet stings so it was a success.

NEXT

I was working on homework when my sister Devree got on Facebook and instant messaged me. It made my whole day to talk to my sister. Even though we didn't talk about anything majorly important it was just nice to know that when she saw that I was online she wanted to talk to me. And not to complain about how I have some of her clothes but just to say hi. It meant a lot to me.

Update

This will just be some bullets about what is going on in my life here at College.

• I have a lot of homework! Especially for my Human Anatomy class and it's hard to concentrate at my apartment because there is always something going on. Either my roommates are watching a movie, there are boys at our apartment, the cute boys across the hall are inviting us over to play card games with them or someone has their music on super loud! Its just a big party every day! Which is way fun but I need to get my homework done. I have been doing a lot of my homework in the library and I feel so sophisticated sitting in the library studying!
• Not only have I been doing a lot of homework I have been dancing a ton!!!!! AND I LOVE IT! Drill is so much fun and I love that I get to perform a lot more! Also my ballet class is way hard and I am learning that I am not that great at it. Today I had two dance classes this morning and then an extra drill practice this afternoon. Needless to say I am pretty tired and there is still that pile of homework to do tonight.
• I went grocery shopping the other day. Legit grocery shopping not just picking up bread and milk. It was difficult spending 45 dollars on food and a bathroom scale so that I can play The Game On Diet. It is pretty easy to follow a healthy diet when you buy your own food. Just make sure you go shopping when you are feeling you have a lot of will power haha.
• Sometimes my roommates drive me up the wall: That's all I am going to say about that.
• Last Saturday I went with a group of people and we hiked in the dark up to the big S for Snow College on the mountain. It was a pretty steep climb luckily it wasn't that long of a hike or I would have died! It was so pretty on top of the mountain the stars are so clear here and we could see all of Ephraim below us. Mom you should call me sometime and I will tell you the details about this hike! You will laugh but I don't really want to share with the Internet haha!
• Not to toot my own horn but there is a boy here who is smitten with me! haha jk. I shouldn't be flattered about it I think its more that he just got off of his mission six weeks ago and he is desperate for a girls attention. (I know dad "Stay away from return missionaries") haha
• Last night something marvelous happened. Chantel and Allie came out of their rooms and talked to Whitney and me. Chantel, Allie, and myself made some funny dancing videos on Chantel's computer. We were going crazy! They are way fun I just wish they would come out of their rooms more.
• Tonight I cooked my very first Stir Fry all on my own! It wasn't that good. But it was the best and most complicated meal I have made myself so far! I am discovering that I am not much of a cook. I also pulled out my recipe book for the first time today. If anyone would like to share some easy meals I could make that serve one (and that aren't too complex) I would appreciate it if you could send me recipes.

Well that's a little of my life right there and I would like to apologize to my sweet mother for not blogging last week. I CAN'T promise it wont happen again.

First College Post

I'm not exactly sure what I am supposed to write in a blog but I promised my mom that once I went to college I would write in my blog once a week.... I'm not positive that will last very long but at least I can check blogging off for this week.

So I moved away from home this week. I am down here in little Ephraim at Snow College. I am liking it so far. I have been kind of board because pretty much everyone on campus is taking this Smart Start class where they go to classes and socials for the first two days before real school starts. My roommate Whitney has told me that the class isn't very interesting and she mostly sleeps through the classes, but like i said pretty much everyone on campus goes so they are all meeting each other and I am at home talking to the internet. Won't be a big deal when school starts tomorrow.

My roommates haven't really been home so I haven't talked to any of them. We have like three sets of dishes so our cupboards are pretty full but we haven't gotten together to figure out if we are sharing or not. I hope I will be able to talk to them tonight or tomorrow and get things straightened out.

I signed up for institute today. The institute teaches seem really nice and everyone on campus seems very nice. Each time I walk past someone we say hi to each other and smile. I have met a lot of people but I have no clue what 99% of their names are.

UPDATE!

Shaylee, Whitney and myself organized a roommate dinner. I brought up the topic about how we have three sets of silverware and I asked (very nicely) if it would be alright to combine the plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and cups. They agreed .... So Whitney and I had a big organize the kitchen party while everyone else was out doing their own thing. Everyone now has their own cupboard for their food and all the cooking supplies have their own cupboards. Whitney and I kept saying to each other how proud our mothers would be of us. ha ha... Our roommates seemed thankful for us taking control ... tomorrow we tackle the bathrooms.

Boring Week

I got a haircut this weekend. That is probably the most exciting thing that has happened this week. You see I have been sick for about two weeks and I haven't been in the mood to really do anything. I finished a book. It was called North of Beautiful it wasn't that good but it was good enough to keep me reading until the end. I am not starting the book Dear John and I have to finish it by Friday night because my friends and I are going out to see the movie even though I have already seen it.

I still have no followers!! :( come on mom!

My First Post

My mom told me that when I go to college I would need to start a blog so she could check up on me to know what I was doing. So.... I figured why not start a blog now so that I can get into the habit of writing one at school, and I like to read my moms blog so maybe someone would like to read mine. But I am warning you I am not as eloquent and humorous as my mother so don't expect to be entertained to much.

I don't really know what I'm supposed to write in a blog. I guess its like a journal that everyone can read?? So note to self ... don't put super personal things in here that you don't want your neighbors, friends, or mommy to read ;) ha not that I keep much from my mom. Oh and don't gossip about people that would probably be good to keep in mind. It would be bad if I started complaining about how much my sister bothers me on a daily bases wouldn't it? that kind of stuff should stay in my written journal on my night stand I suppose. Anyways I would love to have some people follow me and watch as I attempt to become a blogger.

Oh my this blog could contain so much important information about my future life. Like what kind of career I'm going to have, or who I'm going to marry (that's weird to think about), or my future family stuff(even weirder)!! I could be writing in the blog when I'm like thirty about how my children are drive me up the freaking wall. haha I'm so excited:)
